I have also had the "red rings of death" too. I was also rerouted to the call center in India. Microsoft did take care of my Xbox 360 but the call centers English speakers were terrible but funny to listen to. I wish more American companies would keep their operations here in he U.S.A.

You mentioned the Apple company as still having their call centers here in the U.S.A. That is good and you can tell when you call them for help. Their call centers are very helpful. I just wish they made their computers here instead of China.

I hope I never get that red ring so I don't have to deal with the call centers. My ISP Bellsouth, now ATT but still ran as Bellsouth, is the worst. Call to sign up for new service and its all English speaking people; Call for technical support and its all indian people that repeat everything back to me so many times I start to think I'm the one who cant understand English. Dial Zero for the iphone tells me what's the quickest way to the operator, its: 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, ignore all messages. I would love to be able to press the 0 and speak in English, but thats quickly fading away.
