Work

I read a web release today from Simmons Jannace & Stagg. They seem to be one of the best lawyers around that will fight for you.

The law firm has had some interesting clients, one of which was Nancy Burpee, a world class paralympic swimmer. She attempted to participate in the 2004 Paralympic Games held in Athens, Greece. Being disqualified by a referee over minor technicalities, Nancy called upon simmons jannace & stagg to help her with presenting the facts hoping to overturn the disqualification. They agreed to assist her Pro Bono.

During the case Simmons, Jannace & Stagg demonstrated that the United States Paralympic swim trials were not held in accordance with the paralympic rules.

Although the arbitrator failed to see eye to eye with them, I think that Simmons, Jannace & Stagg represented Nancy Burpee the best that could be done.
